I’ve definitely noticed a few changes in her decor. I love the little rainbow drawing on the back wall. Perhaps from Jade? The Chilewich Ray Tray that held all her produce has been replaced by a beautiful ceramic white four-tiered stand. As always, if any of you viewers spot items, feel free to post in the comments! The shelf above the window is a bit more whimsical and fully blue-toned whereas she started out Season 1 in green. I immediately noticed these beautiful glass candy dishes that are like mini versions of apothecary jars. The round shape makes them unique. It’s light and refreshing with tomato as the main ingredient, but also comforting and satisfying with the addition of the bread crumb topping, reminiscent of a cold weather casserole recipe. The bread crumb topping and Parmesan seeps into the corkscrew ridges, making every bite flavorful. On a recent episode of Giada at Home, Giada de Laurentiis did a play on a classic childhood PB & J and turned it into a cookie. Yes a peanut butter cookie with jam has been done before, but her addition of cocoa powder adds a whole new dimension. It’s fudgy, rich, chocolatey and the ULTIMATE cookie with a glass of milk. Sorry Oreos these chocolate peanut butter cookies are my new go-to. Heavenly first bite which starts off chocolatey but unexpectedly you hit creamy the peanut butter flavor and lastly a hint of tang from the jam center. |
